To assist SME companies in the services sector to gain access to financing from the participating FIs
Application Period
Application opens from 1 April 2015 up to 31 December 2017 or upon approval of financing up to RM 5 Billion only, whichever is earlier
Companies in services sector and registered under the Companies Act 1965 (at least 51%) shares held by Malaysian and shareholder’s equity of less than RM 20 Million
Profit Rates:
To be determined by the participating FI’s
Financing Limit
Minimum: RM 100,000
Maximum: RM 5 Million
Purpose of Financing
Services Sector Guarantee Scheme (SSGS) is meant to support working capital requirements and capital expenditure (CAPEX) and not for the refinancing of existing credit facilities
Tenure of Financing
For the period of five (5) years or until 31 December 2020 whichever is earlier
70% from the Government of Malaysia on financing facilities granted by the participating FIs
